Congratulations, Dania! Scholarships will be awarded during the NLC National Recognition Session on Friday, June 20. A scholarship dinner prior to Opening Session will be held for recipients to meet their scholarship sponsors.

NEW JERSEY HOSA SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS

The NJ HOSA Executive Council voted at their March 10, 2008 meeting to award $2,400 in scholarships to deserving NJ HOSA applicants. Fifteen applications were received by NJ HOSA and scholarship interviews were conducted during Sunday's State Leadership Conference session in April. It was a difficult decision for our judges considering the fine pool of applicants. We are happy to announce the following NJ HOSA scholarships:

1st Place ($1,200)
Michelle Niemiec, Mercer County Technical School
2nd Place ($700)
Tahiya Choudhury, Passaic County Technical Institute
3rd Place ($500)
Danielle Kirby, Burlington County Institute of Technology -
Westampton

LEWIS AND CLARKE NAMED HONORARY LIFE MEMBERS

Vera Lewis, Academy for Vocational Careers, and Jacqueline Clarke, Camden County Technical Institute, were presented with plaques as tokens of our appreciation for their service.
